The beeswax in this gives a nice firm hold without that stiff, crusty feel I've gotten from cheaper tins. My handlebar twists actually stay put through a workday, and a little goes a long way.
I've tried gritty waxes that clump and pull, but this one goes on smooth and stays workable for a good ten minutes. The oils keep it from drying stiff, so my handlebar actually holds its curl all day without flaking. Two tins in and I'm not switching.
The beeswax base gives it just enough hold without that crunchy, stiff feeling—my curls stay put all day but still look natural. Smooth application too, no gritty tugging like some other tins I've tried.
